The team behind Altitude
Our story
We started Squads in 2021 to build programmable accounts that help organizations manage digital assets securely. Our team was global from day one, and we ran the business on stablecoins without a bank account.
As stablecoin adoption grew, our customers began using those accounts to run payroll, pay suppliers, and manage their day to day finances. Infrastructure originally built for specialized digital asset use cases was becoming a foundation for everyday business finance. Today, it secures billions of dollars and processes billions in stablecoin payments each month.
We built Altitude to bring that foundation to businesses around the world, giving them a global account and faster, cheaper ways to move money.
Our team
We’re a team of 45, with offices in New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Dubai. Our backgrounds span engineering, security, product, design, and financial services. All of our financial operations run on Altitude.

How to set up an Altitude account
Create a workspace, complete business verification, and configure your team’s access and approval settings. Once approved, fund your account by bank transfer or stablecoin deposit and start using the services available to your business.
