Yes. Brazil is supported for USD accounts, EUR accounts, SWIFT payments, and cards. A company registered with a Junta Comercial can apply online for a USD and EUR business account for Brazilian companies. The accounts are enabled once Altitude has verified the company and its owners.

No. You open the account with your Brazilian entity and its own documents: its articles of association (contrato social) and CNPJ, a simplified certificate (certidão simplificada) or share register showing its partners (sócios), a recent tax invoice (nota fiscal) or client contract, and a utility bill or lease for the address it operates from. You don’t need a US entity.

Exporters, agencies, software teams, service companies, and any other company registered with a Junta Comercial. Each one applies online with its NIRE and CNPJ, then gets USD and EUR accounts, global payments, and corporate cards in one workspace.

You get a USD business account and a euro business account for your company in Brazil. Each USD account has its own US routing and account numbers for ACH, ACH Same Day, and wire, plus SWIFT details for clients whose banks are outside the US. Each EUR account has a SEPA IBAN. You can open more accounts in either currency, and each one gets its own set of details. Ask clients to write your registered company name (razão social) exactly as shown and to send SWIFT in USD.

It’s free to open, with no setup or monthly fee. Receiving ACH, wire, SEPA, and SWIFT payments is free, and you see the cost of every payment you send before you approve it.

Pay BRL by Pix from your USD balance to your company’s Pix key at its bank in Brazil. The quote shows the BRL your bank receives, and the rate holds once you send. USD by SWIFT is the other route, arriving within five business days.

When you apply online, you’ll upload:

  • Your articles of association (contrato social), or bylaws (estatuto social) for an S.A., registered with the Junta Comercial, showing your registered company name (razão social), NIRE, and 14-digit CNPJ.
  • A simplified certificate (certidão simplificada) or consolidated articles of association with the quotas of each partner (sócio), or an S.A.’s share register (Livro de Registro de Ações Nominativas).
  • A tax invoice (nota fiscal, NF-e or NFS-e) from the last six months, issued by your company or to it, or a client contract with signatures.
  • An electricity or water bill (conta de luz or conta de água) under three months old, or a lease (contrato de locação), covering the premises your company works from.
  • For each owner with 25% or more, an RG, CNH, or passport and their CPF, checked through an email Altitude sends them. Add a power of attorney (procuração) only when your signer appears in none of the other papers.

Copy, email, or download your USD account details, or send an invoice from Altitude, which prints them for you. A payer in the US sends ACH or wire, and a payer elsewhere sends USD by SWIFT.
