Yes. Colombia is supported for USD accounts, EUR accounts, SWIFT payments, and cards. A company registered with a chamber of commerce (Cámara de Comercio) can apply online for a USD and EUR business account for Colombian companies. The accounts are enabled once Altitude has verified the company and its owners.

No. You open the account with your Colombian entity and its own documents: its certificate of existence and legal representation (certificado de existencia y representación legal) with its NIT, its shareholder register (libro de registro de accionistas), a recent electronic invoice (factura electrónica) or client contract, and a utility bill (recibo de servicios públicos) or lease for its operating address. You don’t need a US entity.

Exporters, software companies, agencies, service companies, and any other company registered with a chamber of commerce (Cámara de Comercio). Each one applies online with its certificate of existence and legal representation (certificado de existencia y representación legal) and NIT, then gets USD and EUR accounts, global payments, and corporate cards in one workspace.

You get a USD business account and a euro business account for your company in Colombia. Every USD account comes with US routing and account numbers that accept ACH, ACH Same Day, and wire, and with SWIFT details for USD from outside the US. Every EUR account comes with a SEPA IBAN. Senders use your registered company name (razón social) exactly as it reads on the details and send SWIFT in USD.

It’s free to open, with no setup or monthly fee. Receiving ACH, wire, SEPA, and SWIFT payments is free, and you see the cost of every payment you send before you approve it.

Pay COP from your USD balance by Bre-B to your account’s Bre-B key, or by bank transfer. The quote shows the COP your bank receives, and the rate holds once you send. USD by SWIFT is the other route, arriving within five business days.

The online application asks for:

  • A recent certificate of existence and legal representation (certificado de existencia y representación legal) from your Cámara de Comercio, showing your registered company name (razón social), commercial registration number (matrícula mercantil), and NIT.
  • Your shareholder register (libro de registro de accionistas), or for a Ltda. its deed of incorporation (escritura de constitución), covering all of the company’s ownership.
  • An electronic sales invoice you issued or one a supplier issued to you, or a signed client contract, from the last six months.
  • A utility bill (recibo de servicios públicos) from the last three months, or a lease (contrato de arrendamiento), for the physical address you operate from.
  • A citizenship ID card (cédula de ciudadanía), foreigner’s ID card (cédula de extranjería), or passport for each owner with 25% or more, verified through an email link.

No. Your S.A.S. or Ltda. applies with its certificate of existence and legal representation (certificado de existencia y representación legal) and NIT. Once Altitude verifies it, its USD and EUR accounts have their own details.
