Yes. Mauritius is supported for USD accounts, EUR accounts, SWIFT payments, and cards. A company registered with the Registrar of Companies can apply online for a USD and EUR business account for Mauritian companies. The accounts are enabled once Altitude has verified the company and its owners.

No. You open the account with your Mauritian entity and its own documents: the certificate of incorporation the Registrar issued, its BRN, its share register, an invoice or commercial agreement from the last six months, and a CEB or CWA bill or lease. You don’t need a US entity.

Exporters, software companies, agencies, service companies, and any other company registered with the Corporate and Business Registration Department. Each one applies online with its certificate of incorporation and BRN, then gets USD and EUR accounts, global payments, and corporate cards in one workspace.

You get a USD business account and a euro business account for your company in Mauritius. The EUR account carries an IBAN that clients pay through SEPA. The USD account carries a routing number and account number for clients in the US paying by ACH or wire, and SWIFT details for USD sent from other countries. Payers write your registered name in full and send SWIFT in USD.

It’s free to open, with no setup or monthly fee. Receiving ACH, wire, SEPA, and SWIFT payments is free, and you see the cost of every payment you send before you approve it.

Send USD by SWIFT to the account your company holds with a bank in Mauritius. It arrives within five business days. If that account is in another currency, your bank may convert the payment.

To open the account online, you’ll need:

  • The certificate the Registrar of Companies issued at incorporation, with your Business Registration Number (BRN).
  • Your share register under the Companies Act 2001, showing every shareholder’s holding. A shareholder that is itself a company also sends its formation and ownership documents.
  • An invoice or commercial agreement naming your company, dated within the last six months.
  • A CEB or CWA bill under three months old, or a lease, for the physical premises you operate from.
  • An emailed identity check for every owner of 25% or more, with a Mauritian ID card or passport and a live selfie.

Foreign currency accounts at Mauritian banks sit with a bank on the island. Altitude issues your company a routing number and account number in the US, SWIFT details, and an IBAN that SEPA reaches. Clients in the US and Europe pay through their usual domestic transfers. Supplier payments leave that one balance.

Yes. Create invoices in USD or EUR in Altitude and send them with your account details printed on them. When a client pays, you match the payment to its invoice.

No. Altitude is a financial technology platform, not a bank. Your company gets a multi-currency business account with USD and EUR account details and payments abroad.
