Yes. Mexico is supported for USD accounts, EUR accounts, SWIFT payments, and cards. A company registered with the Registro Público de Comercio can apply online for a USD and EUR business account for Mexican companies. The accounts are enabled once Altitude has verified the company and its owners.

No. You open the account with your Mexican entity and its own documents: its deed of incorporation (acta constitutiva) with its commercial registry entry (folio mercantil) and RFC, its share register (registro de acciones) or partners’ register (libro de socios), a recent CFDI or client contract, and a CFE bill or lease for the place it operates. You don’t need a US entity.

Exporters, agencies, software teams, service companies, and any other company registered with the Registro Público de Comercio. Each one applies online with its commercial registry entry (folio mercantil electrónico) and RFC, then gets USD and EUR accounts, global payments, and corporate cards in one workspace.

You get a USD business account and a euro business account for your company in Mexico. For USD, clients pay to a US routing number and account number by ACH, ACH Same Day, or wire, or to SWIFT details when their bank is outside the US. For EUR, they pay to a SEPA IBAN. Each extra USD or EUR account you open comes with its own set. Ask clients to use your registered company name (denominación social) exactly and to send SWIFT in USD.

It’s free to open, with no setup or monthly fee. Receiving ACH, wire, SEPA, and SWIFT payments is free, and you see the cost of every payment you send before you approve it.

Save your company’s account at a bank in Mexico as a recipient with its CLABE, then pay it MXN by SPEI from your USD balance. The quote shows the MXN your bank receives, and the rate holds once you send. USD by SWIFT is the other route, arriving within five business days.

Have these ready for the online application:

  • Your deed of incorporation (acta constitutiva), recorded in the Registro Público de Comercio with its commercial registry entry (folio mercantil electrónico), plus your company’s RFC, 12 characters for a legal entity (persona moral).
  • Your share register (registro de acciones), or for an S. de R.L. its partners’ register (libro especial de los socios), accounting for all of the company’s ownership.
  • A CFDI from the past six months, whether your company issued it or a supplier did, or a signed client contract.
  • A CFE or water bill no older than three months, or a lease (contrato de arrendamiento), for the premises you operate from.
  • An INE credential or passport for every owner of 25% or more, each of whom gets an email to verify. Add a notarized power of attorney (poder notarial) if the person signing for the company appears nowhere else.

Altitude gives your company account details for getting paid: US routing and account numbers, SWIFT details, and a SEPA IBAN, all applied for online. Clients in the US and Europe pay you the way they would pay a supplier at home. From the same balance you send MXN to Mexico by SPEI and pay suppliers in other countries.
