Yes. Paraguay is supported for USD accounts, EUR accounts, SWIFT payments, and cards. An S.A. or S.R.L. applies online for a USD and EUR business account for Paraguayan companies, and its accounts switch on after Altitude verifies the company and its owners.

No. You open the account with your Paraguayan entity and its own documents: its public deed of incorporation (escritura pública de constitución) with its Registros Públicos inscription, its RUC, its share register (libro de registro de acciones), a recent invoice (factura) or client contract, and an ANDE or ESSAP bill or lease for the address it operates from. You don’t need a US entity.

Exporters, software companies, agencies, service companies, and any other S.A. or S.R.L. registered in Paraguay. Each applies online with its deed of incorporation (escritura) and RUC, then runs USD and EUR accounts, global payments, and corporate cards from one workspace.

Your company gets a USD business account and a euro business account. The USD account has US routing and account numbers for ACH and wire, plus SWIFT details for clients whose banks are outside the US. The EUR account has a SEPA IBAN. Clients pay to your company name as it reads on the details, and SWIFT payments come in as USD.

Opening is free, with no setup or monthly fee. Incoming ACH, wire, SEPA, and SWIFT payments are free too, and every payment you send shows its cost before you approve it.

Send USD by SWIFT to your company’s account at a bank in Paraguay, and it arrives within five business days. If that account isn’t in USD, your bank may convert the payment on arrival.

The online application asks for:

  • Your public deed of incorporation (escritura pública de constitución) with its Registros Públicos inscription, showing your company name and inscription number. The application also asks for your RUC, which starts with 80 for a company.
  • Your share register (libro de registro de acciones). An S.R.L. can show its partners and quotas (socios and cuotas) through its deed.
  • An invoice (factura) you issued or received, or a signed client contract, dated within the last six months.
  • An ANDE or ESSAP bill dated within the last three months, or a lease (contrato de alquiler), for your physical operating address.
  • An email identity check for each owner with 25% or more, using an ID card (cédula de identidad) or passport. Shareholder meeting minutes (acta de asamblea) or a power of attorney (poder) are needed only if your signer isn’t named in the other documents.

No. Your S.A. or S.R.L. applies with its own company documents, and no local bank account is asked for. Once Altitude verifies it, its USD and EUR accounts come with details of their own.
