Introducing Batch Approvals and Payments in Altitude

The words "Batch Payments" over a collage of various paper documents.

Review and approve an entire payment run at once.

Finance teams typically manage payments in runs: contractor payouts at the end of the month, supplier invoices due this week, or creator payments for a campaign.

Until now, processing those payments in Altitude meant opening each payment individually, approving it, and repeating the process for the next one.

Today, we're introducing batch approvals and batch payments, so your approval workflow matches how your finance team already works.

Select the payments that are ready, review them together, and approve or pay them as a batch. All your existing approval rules still apply.

Review and approve payments together

Altitude now organizes payments into three tabs: Draft, Approvals, and Ready.

You can select multiple payments that share the same status and act on them together, saving the time previously spent opening and approving each payment individually.

Your existing approval thresholds and approver requirements remain unchanged, so your team can process payment runs faster while maintaining the same oversight.

All the context you need, in one view

A good approval process gives you enough information to make decisions confidently.

The batch approval view brings together the details approvers need, including who created each payment, its funding account, and the associated invoice.

Altitude also flags first-time recipients and changes to payment details, helping you identify payments that need a closer look.

You can review the entire run in one place while keeping visibility into each individual payment.

One payment run, multiple currencies

Pay contractors, creators, and suppliers across currencies using any rail supported by Altitude, including ACH, wire, SEPA, SWIFT, and local payment rails such as Pix in Brazil, SPEI in Mexico, Faster Payments in the UK, and Bre-B in Colombia, all within the same batch.

For mixed-currency batches, Altitude displays a breakdown by currency, so you can review the amounts separately.

Each payment also shows its method, estimated arrival, and due date, making it easier to manage payouts across different destinations.

Get started with batch payments

Batch approvals and payments are another step toward cutting manual financial work in Altitude. Your team can review and process payments the way it already organizes them, with the right information and approval rules in place.

Batch approvals and payments are now available in Altitude.

Open your Altitude workspace, head to Payments, and select the payments you want to approve or pay together.
