Your transactions are already in Altitude. Getting them into your books shouldn’t become another project.
Altitude now connects to Xero, so you can skip the CSV export. Connect your Xero organisation, map your accounts, and review, classify, and post supported transactions directly from Altitude Accounting.
Less work between transactions and your books.
Altitude imports your Xero chart of accounts so you can classify transactions using the accounts your bookkeeper already works with.
Map each Altitude account to an existing Xero bank account in the same currency, then select the required category and contact before posting.
The integration supports three Xero transaction types:
- Spend money for supported outgoing transactions.
- Receive money for supported incoming transactions.
- Transfer for supported movements between mapped bank accounts.
Post individually or in bulk. You decide what goes into your books.
Keep your posting queue moving.
Altitude shows you when a transaction needs attention. If it fails to post to Xero, you’ll see what went wrong so you can fix it and retry from Altitude Accounting.
Successful postings move to Synced, so you know they’ve reached your books. You can also exclude transactions you don’t want to send to Xero.
Connect once. Make it part of your routine.
- Connect Xero to your Altitude workspace.
- Map your Altitude accounts to compatible existing Xero bank accounts.
- Review and classify supported transactions.
- Post to Xero and track the result in Altitude.
Xero remains your ledger, with no separate subledger to manage.
This release covers supported transaction posting. Invoice and bill sync, automatic invoice payment reconciliation, and tax configuration are not included.
Your time belongs to bigger things.
Exporting files and moving data between tools takes time you could spend building, making decisions, and growing your business.
With Xero joining QuickBooks, more teams can bring their books into their Altitude workflow and leave another recurring task behind.
Connect Xero from Accounting in Altitude.
